Volunteer · partner · commission · fund

Fourteen years of this has never been done by Tanoti alone.

The menu for everyone who is not here to buy something: partners, funders, volunteers, corporate teams and institutions.

A lmost every line in the atelier history has another name attached to it. UNIMAS on the Long Lamai coilings. WWF-Malaysia across the eighteen Penan settlements of the Kubaan Puak. Hasanah on the Gold Threads Awards. KUSKOP, MEDAC, the State Government.

That is not modesty, it is the operating model. Tanoti is a social enterprise, which means margin from the shop funds training, raw materials and village workshops rather than a shareholder distribution — and the projects that reach furthest are the ones somebody co-funded.

If you are here on behalf of an organisation rather than a wardrobe, this is the page for you.

Just buy something

The unglamorous answer, and still the largest single source of artisan income. Every order pays a piece rate direct to a named maker.
